Welcome to the Western Michigan Section!

Established in 1956, MBCA has more than 24,000 members in over 80 local sections across the U.S. and Canada. We are a gathering place for Mercedes-Benz owners and enthusiasts. We meet to socialize with others who have similar automotive interests. Our local section participates in various technical sessions, driving events, car shows, and social affairs.

Please contact MBCA’s national office in Colorado Springs, Colorado with any questions you may have about membership.

Events

Spring is finally here (we think) and that has our thoughts turning to the upcoming car season. We have just updated our events page for the year; please check it out and see what we have planned for the year.

Our first event of the year will be the Spring Dust Off at Orrin B. Hayes . We will be given a special tour of the new Sprinter facilities at the dealers ship. Following our time at the dealer ship, all thoses that would like to attend are welcome to join us at Gonzo’s across the parking lot for a good lunch. More details will be coming closer to the time of the event.

Don’t forget to come back regularly and see what we have going on.

Thanks

Congrats Marv

At the Deutschemarque Marv walked away with the “Cleanest Concours Car” award for his absolutely immaculate 2011 E 550W. His meticulous attention to detail was shared with the judges before they made their round.

Presidents Message

The year 2015 was a great year for the Western Michigan Section. I would like to thank the board for presenting a diverse and interesting event schedule. We all had the opportunity to meet so many new club members (and their cars!) and reacquaint ourselves with established friends.

2016 is shaping up to be another active year for the Western Michigan Section. Your board is currently developing the new calendar. We are always looking for member
input on events, so please feel free to contact any board member with suggestions or questions.

Personally, my favorite part of this past year was the opportunity afforded by club membership to meet new members and prospective future members. I look forward to doing the same in 2016, and encourage all members to take the opportunity at our events to show off your Mercedes and meet fellow enthusiasts!

As always, membership feedback and suggestions are encouraged. Please feel free to contact any board member or officer with your thoughts. I am looking forward to seeing all my Mercedes-Benz friends in 2016.

Remember, participate!
